Pirelli told Sky on the grid that not all teams were abiding by the rules.

I'm surprised that in F1, where you get severe penalties for the smallest little things, a team who cheats on tire pressures would be able to keep a win.

The only other team mentioned are Ferrari and it clearly says on the document that the tyre pressures on cars 5 and 7 were above the minimum limit, so I don't know who Mercedes are talking about.

Is this why Mercedes and Ferrari were the only ones to have explosions in spa?

So instead of blaming Pirelli...

The FIA obviously have the data so if they had seen teams going outside of the set recommendations at Spa it would have been flagged up then & been mentioned in the report Pirelli put out explaining the failures.

So there's a guideline, no an instruction from both Pirelli and the FIA, yet Mercedes ignore it, don't inform their drivers and then are surprised they're inquired by the FIA to go to the stewards.

What a great team.
