Watch it again. It was not a slow zone, the yellows were out because of Duval crashing, if you watch properly you see the only flag being waved is GREEN.

I'd say it is exactly the same situation we saw in the warm-up this morning: cars approach the slow zone, start to slow down and they switch back to green right at the same moment. And this circumstance makes these slow zones pretty dangerous.

There was flashing yellow light on the left-hand side. You can see it on Duvals onboard.

The problem was an Aston Martin going slowly after the slow zone, I think. Through no fault of his own, of course. Looked like it was slow due to a problem of some sort, which caused the cars to bunch up a bit.

Lead Porsche seems to be in a different SC queue; the rest of the remaining Porsches and Audis are two and a half minutes behind, with the two Toyotas even further back.

Duval on RLM explaining how he heard about the slow zone on the radio, saw the yellow flashing light but also the green flags and decided to stay flat out.
