Now onto this weekend's Russian GP, which is obviously the tie breaker round. Good luck everyone.

Having looked through all the picks this weekend I am calling force majeure into play as one member and one member only has a Marussia driver selected. Considering the circumstances surrounding their participation I will be reaching out to that member and offering him the chance to swap out that driver for one of the spare drivers he has (which is the other Marussia and the two Caterhams). If anyone has any questions then please contact me.

It's bit eerie as my prediction of the Russian GP not being run wasn't that far-fetched if certain events last weekend turned out much, much worse. Now I'm glad it's being run.

If I run the competition again in 2015, I am considering switching things round and awarding based on most points scored rather than least. That way people will want cars to finish badly and retire.

today was quite interesting as most picks finished behind, apart from Philthy82 who is expected to take the lead and extend advantage at Austin as he picked Bottas

As long as no double points are given for the final race. Maldonado 16th x2 is 32 points or so.
