This. I don't even understand why some of the corners needed to change. Just use the original layout and put in the chicane before the final corner if needs be.

They could have kept the existing esses, it would be like Suzuka's in the current cars

Crowds will never be an issue though, they got 200,000 back in the day.

the Moscow ring is now licensed to host F1 races. Maybe a good venue for the European GP in case Baku doesn't happen?

i'm pretty sure that back in the days a ticket for the main straight wasn't 700$

Crazy to think most of us back in 2009-2010 thought they had the best papers of all the new teams together with US F1.

I think Fernandes rather throws his money at the Premier League than F1. Easier to accomplish success, and much more money out of televisions rights.

Nah Virgin did. But they cut funding when they realised they weren't going to turn up and win like the Brawn dream story.
