Heh, they're gonna run a shorter version of Monaco (good plan!), which reminds me of the WRC special stage they had there once (I think it was): http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115918

It also reminds me of the Riviera stage in Sega Rally 2, to a degree!

Exactly as I suggested two weeks ago then...

ok, thanks for answers..
I see Monaco is on calendar too, so no doubt where they will race there :)

Well all the FE circuits have so far been quite short, so potentially Monaco could shorten the circuit. Turning right a Ste Devote, down the ramp at Tabac and turn right again to the swimming pool.

Wondering if this could possibly be the route, or whether they'd use the full GP circuit - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6432576

Despite the shorter track, I bet the laptime will be around the same time as F1.

The Battersea track looks very interesting. Probably the best of the FE tracks so far.

Where is the track layout? So I can work out where I can find a hotel nearby. I can't miss a chance to witness a street race in the UK!

That layout reminds me of the pre-war Hungarian GP track at Népliget Park

Have they got planning permission yet to use Battersea Park? Last I heard it still hadn't been put in front of the planning committee.

Last I heard of it they were looking into another location as a backup....

Ehhhh, they're gonna have to bring back the birmingham superprix to accommodate this aren't they?

(PLEASE! )

LOL, iirc the backup is around the perimeter roads at Telehouse or one of the other Dockland Industrial estates.

The backup is the Isle of Man TT...

Laptime projection: well you'd need a calender to log it.

They'd have to swap cars during the lap.

And you'd need a different SC charging up around every corner :P

How many times? Do they have enough spare cars?

They'd need charging pads down the lengthy straights wipeout 2097 style :p

Well I raced along the Birmingham Superprix today, only along Sherlock Street, round the chicane and down the Peter Barwell Hill as part of the Birmingham Half Marathon today...

Anyway, the Act is still in place so in theory it could work but where's the finance? That's the problem for Birmingham.

Formula E seems pretty well financed tbh.

Would be nice to see anyway before the money runs out, like all these suddenly appearing alternate single seater series.
