Pretty cool. I like David, he's always very ambitious and serious about his racing.

tl;dr: LMP2, 2015, £8M budget, from 250,000 they plan to raise via this initially in phase 1.

"New"... Perrinn :whistling: This seems better thought out though.

Just paid a cup of cappuccino to Mr.Brabham :D

Would be great to see the Brabham name back to racing, and this time with a legitimate heir.

I just saw the video and they mentioned Open Source racing, are they going with the Perrin project?

How is that possible with current GTE rules? Current GTE are GT2 cars. A Ford GT would usually (in the old rules) be placed in the GT1 class. Unless they are planning to downsize it a lot (or make specially for GTE) I can't see that happen. I can see a GTE mustang, since that is much more alike like the 458, GT3, Vantage V8 and Corvette. But a Ford GT? I think the rules need to be changed alot for that to happen.

GTE is not strictly GT2 anymore, it has almost become like GT3 i.e. almost anything goes as long as it is BoPed. Secondly there is no Ford GT in production currently so hard to know what kind of a car it even would be.

Ratel's GT1 series had that Ford, but there was also the Robertson Racing GT2 version in ALMS.

If they haven't changed anything, then very likely yes.

I think Interlagos will be out for good as I heard Emerson Fittipaldi lost quite a lot of money with it as he was expecting far more people to attend th event than it ever did.

Had Bernhard or Hartley(don't remember who was it) done a slightly better job, then they would have taken that pole away from Buemi/Davidson cause Webbo did 2 very good laps on his stint.

Looks promising for a fierce battle between Toyota and Porsche and hopefully Audi has a better race pace to also mix up with them.
