Subway, Taco Bell, and Taco Cabana are the only fast food places that don't make me completely regret eating there once I get the food and after I eat it.

When I was on the road chasing racing, I lived exclusively on Pizza Hut pizzas and McDonald's quarter pounders with cheese. Pretty much anything can be on a pizza when they toss it in the oven and the heat will kill it and not give you food poisoning. Same deal used to apply to the clown mascot fast food joints. Never ate airline food other than pretzels and peanuts in a sealed bag.

All the race team haulers carried local drinking water in Gatorade comp coolers for the team members to drink to avoid sickness from changing water supplies. I carried a cooler in the trunk for driving-distance tracks and stocked it with beer and sodas provided by sponsors. And homemade country ham biscuits. Salty ass country ham doesn't provide much of a growth medium for salmonella either. One bout of food poisoning on the road will inspire you to seriously consider such stuff.

I always get a bit jealous reading these threads. Fast food choice in the UK is pretty shit (although that's probably for the best). Got a couple of Five Guys here now which I've been meaning to try for a while, although the ridiculous cost is kind of turning me off a bit.

Ya, I haven't heard of half of these chains. Maybe we'll have them in 10 years. When travelling, I always stop at BK. Can't remember the last McDonald's I had.

Subway has quickly become my favorite place again. Footlong ham on wheat, no cheese, all the vegetables, honey mustard.

The other day, I took my fiancee and son to Shane's rib shack, which is one of a few local BBQ joints around the Atlanta area. Go there if you have the chance. Pretty good.

Oh Subway will always be my first love. Footlong Turkey on wheat, no cheese (what's the point?.. also I'm lactose intolerant lol), all veggies except cucumber, extra pickles topped with honey mustard. So good. Sometimes I put plain baked lays on it for a crunch. If anyone thinks thats gross, try it. With Subway, ALWAYS bomb it with veggies. The sandwich cost the same with 1 veggie as it does with all so load up!

Also, the Chicken Bacon Ranch is pretty delicious for a toasted sub.

I just had a really long post typed up about my dislike of Subway and their ultra cheap, shit tier sandwiches but when I hit submit my internet failed and now it is gone. :(

I usually do the Chipotle Chicken & Cheese (pretty much the same as the Buffalo Chicken, but with Chipotle sauce instead).. I like their pulled pork that they have now as well.

I find Five Guys to be overpriced (but then again, it makes sense since they give out rather large portions). I may be biased, but In-N-Out is the shit.

Pretty sure in-n-out and 5 guys were only named so people would make crude innuendos and therefore stick in your memory more

Always wanted to go to In-N-Out. Unfortunately, I've never gone farther west than Oklahoma.

In-N-Out has better burgers than Five Guys, but Five Guys has better fries.

I need to make that combination some time.

Have you done the In-N-Out animal style fries? Those are pretty good.. but yeah Five Guys' fries are awesome.
