Ya. TBS sitcoms look and feel like the worst mid-90s sitcoms.

Morgan Shepherd could have parked early and still finished in the same position or one back, so why bother staying out there? Maybe he earned bonus money to take out a Penske car. He was a rolling road block all day and shoulda been parked early.

Need a new rule from NASCAR: Car numbers required on all in-car beverages and roll bar padding and huge penalty for driver created cautions.

Looks like FoMoCo has actually caught up, at least the Penske team. Brain France has tried to downgrade mfg's as a fan draw even though that is the main thing that creates interest.

Morgue is my hero.

IF he ever has another fan car I'll throw some money towards it.

Lil Joe Joe has torn up his fair share of shit. Including his DQ at the Toyota showdown. So, he can't really say shit about taking a drivers test before being out there. Amazing he's been in the sport for so long and I, along with so many others, can't seem to find a reason to respect him.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

If I were wrecked by the slowest guy on the track I'd be pissed too. Y'all can hate on Clam Sauce for making dumb moves in the past and stinking up the Nationwide series but he was in the right here.

^I was halfway to posting the exact same point when I saw you posted. Even if that was Kyle Busch we have no reason to hate on him for that. (though it'd be funnier ;) )

The funniest thing about it is Wally saying "and he gets POUNDED in the right rear corner panel" and in reality it it just a gentle nudge" :D

Where's that clip from the 80's of Morgan trying to climb over the infield fence to beat up some hecklers?

Morgan was only 15 laps behind cause of that Pit Fire anyways. He would have probably have been within two or so laps of Sorenson and the "North East Short Track Circlejerk" car.

Morgan didn't intimidate the black guy and kids inside turn two at The Rock. He woulda got a hawkbill on his throat if he'd gone over that fence and he knew it.

Brutus was hamming it up for TV in VL, still an asshole.

If I'd "been wrecked by the slowest car" I'd have been more embarrassed at allowing it to happen than angry at the fact Jesus had actually crashed into me, what was wrong with him giving a little room? Anybody who's driven that track on iRacing knows it's impossible to keep a car on the very inside lane without it moving up, so why give the guy no room for error?

A little late to the "home track" discussion, but Loudon is the closest track to me at about 6.5 hours away. Gotta cross the border, go through the vast expanse of nothingness that is Maine, and then BAM, we hit civilization. Stayed in Nashua for the '97 race, then in Portsmouth for the long-arsed rainy day in '02.

Anyway, yeah, not the best race. Sometimes, a team will just get on a roll and seem to be able to do no wrong. Nice to see it to happen to Kez, IMO. Yeah, he's outspoken more than he probably should be at times, but his success story kinda came out of nowhere. Still hard to believe he's a champion, and that he beat the best to do it.

Finally, there are a lot of *real* winners on Jeff Gordon's Twitter and Facebook feeds. Fans blaming Alan for running out of gas, being a bad crew chief (etc.) when he was the only reason they were up in the top 5 in the first place. Shit happens. I did think it was kinda silly not to pit when the yellow came out, but it was just one of those things. After all, Kyle made it to the end. *shrugs*

That right there is the height of using races as test sessions thanks to the Chase.
