Cant blame him. After 4,5 years of nothing, the whole Lotus debacle and the loss of the deal with Alphine I guess he had enough.

It's no surprise after this past weekend. Fernandez now needs to invest heavily into QPR so they can play and stay in the Premier League.

If he can cough up the dough I rather have him buy it than see them withdraw because no-one buys it.

The guy is a nutcase but I think we underestimate him severely.

I think we estimate him correctly. Press releases don't build or run an F1 team. Neither do false expectations and a shitty website.

I miss Toyota and all the money they threw at that team. Go Ralfie and Trulli!

But according to the FIA a while back they get several applications each year but all are shot down. Yet Stefan GP made it on the latest shortlist for 2015. Either his application was much better than all those others (and thus underestimated) or he is one of the best liars in the world.

Talking about that shortlist. The rumors said they would pick a team besides Haas. Any news on that?

I welcome the chance to be be proven wrong about Stefanovic, but he's been trying to enter F1 for 18 years and each time he comes along he makes wild predictions (not suggestions...) about his participation. Being on a shortlist is meaningless if you cannot achieve what the purpose of the shortlist is. But then again, when there are only 1 or 2 other teams on the shortlist and you're a friend of Bernie's, it shouldn't be hard to get added on. The proof is in the pudding though and giving it's 18 years with nothing to show then I'm confident I'm right about his credentials for an F1 entry.

what they specificaly look when applying a new team to get on the championship? Is it financial capacity, structure, or maybe they must only give what F1 rulers want for the application? ($$$)

From Stefan GP's wiki it says the following for his 2011 bid

Quote:
the FIA announced that none of the prospective entrants met the minimum funding or engineering requirements

From a post a while back I recall the FIA and/or Bernie claiming they get several applications a year but all of them get shot down right away. Therefor, having Stefan GP on the latest shortlist makes me think the bid is more serious than people make it out to be. Not saying the man is the next big shot in F1 and he will topple Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren but it wouldn't be the next Andrea Moda IMHO.

Stafanovic may not be the next Andrea Moda, but they are more than likely will be the next Monteverdi.

he should've worked to be the next Eddie Jordan, but never had experience as team manager

apparently Rosberg was involved in a crash with Pascal Werlhein during a Mercedes Benz spot shoot, but both drivers escaped with no injuries

Wehrlein hit two people who had walked onto the circuit, Rosberg was not involved as he was in a separate car and ahead of the incident.

There's no information on the two people who were hit.

She's a bit over 40.

Nevertheless, pointless comment, it doesn't matter if she's "hot" or not. I'm glad she was there to honour her father's heritage. She probably doesn't remember much of him. Ronnie was such a hero back in the day. Sadly, a bit overlooked nowadays in favour of Gilles, they were just as good as each other. Too bad they didn't have the time to battle each other more and to show their full potential.
