Oh I thought it was him. I must admit my interest in F1 lowers in parallel with the increase of celebrities that turn up.

God, at first glance I though I was looking at vettel in a silly hat. My sincere apologies Sebastian.

LH's facebook

probably not written by Lewis but that is simply not true. He was around a tenth slower than Nico, not a couple up.

As with some others, couldn't care less for either of the Mercedes drivers but just to throw it out, other drivers also made mistakes there during the weekend and who watched FPs knows that.

Ericsson made a mistake there and took Felipe with him and Lewis, himself, screwed his qlf in 2009 with a crash there. I also think Massa binned there in 2006 or some other year qlf. So, even it was deliberate, it would be very difficult to prove it.

This is just another thing I hate about current F1. They trow yellows for everything, ffs.

Rosberg drove the car way off the track, why instantly yellowing there?!

the facebook quote is something he said in the post quali interview. but i agree, i didnt think a yellow was entirely necessary there; nor do i think rosberg did it on purpose. i'm not even sure lewis genuinely thinks nico did it on purpose, he simply felt cheated and wanted to stick–it to nico in the interview a little bit. - and of course the media want to make something big out of it

now if michael schumacher had gone off like that...

It's not entirely surprising to me, though, as this isn't the first time Lewis makes stuff up

I think the race will be "boring" but I will certainnly enjoy an F1 event way more than Indycar's of the same weekend for the first time in the year. Oval racing is to me as fun as watch paint dry, so won't be bashing F1 with the "at least Indy500 is coming next" typical post every time Monaco doesn't bring a thrilling race.

It's a pitty, though, that trains are unlike to be formed as teams are spread apart. Kimi was 7 tenths down on Alonso and still is right behind him

I just hope both Mercedes have some sort of trouble and need to climb back through the field

If that happens, then F1 would be dead in less than six hours. Racing world will never be the same again.

Imagine if you'd just spend 2 hours flying around Monaco in a formula one car, you're mentally and physically drained but so ecstatic that you'd got on the podium... then Justin Bieber comes out to interview you

They threw yellows because the escape road had a car in it, thus making it a fairly unsafe option for everyone else. They had no idea that Nico would choose to reverse onto the track, so would have (quite fairly) assumed that he would get out of the car.

You manage to win the crown jewel race in the pinnacle of motorsports, you make history and achieve something that only few people on the planet has ever done and only few will do it again.

Then Justin Bieber is there.

Everything ruined.

It must be the worst part of being a king, too.

Yeah. Unfortunately Rosberg and Ricciardo are too nice/PR-friendly to say anything, and Hamilton's probably a huge Bieber fan.

Can't believe how many fell for Joe4345's joke

But at least Alonso saved F1:
