After reading the two posts after yours, I would sell my body and soul for a Monaco paddock club pass

In all honesty, Paddock Club passes are meh. Been there and done that a few times. Yes you're in a good spot for viewing and yes you get decent food and free drink, but you're in a lifeless, soulless, corporate arena with zero atmosphere. It's more fun being in the grandstands with the "fans" chowing down on a crappy burger and fries.

I had Paddock Club tickets for Barcelona 2005. Too young for alcohol, but at least the food was plenty. We where invited by Red Bull (back when they were new, they didn't have their own lounge then, just a few tables along with Minardi and Jordan in a shared lounge) and one man fell asleep at the lunch table just before the start of the race. Some people complained about the noise. My dad was distraught over how jaded people were in there.

We still watched the race from there. But I do prefer sitting soaking wet on a concrete chair at the Nürburgring or on a grassy knoll at Le Mans than there. For me, Paddock Club has only been preferable that one time.

Please tell me this is one of those heroic movie situations, where if you don't go your team will have to be disqualified and everything depends on you. If not, ban for life please for having the gall to even mention that on this forum in the knowledge that it would explode in fits of rage filled bile.....what's next you gonna tell us you have an insanely hot sister that we can't have?

Oh.........you'd better fucking win, otherwise this forum will turn into Liam Neeson out of Taken and fucking hunt you down!!!!....But you know, no real pressure..... :D

Did some checkings and it is more than that running thing. Getting there is a problem too. I don't have a car, and even if I did, driving 1000 km one way is not exactly peanuts. Train takes 8 hours but then I'm stuck there till somewhere next week because everything is full. And plane is expensive (even more than train) and on ridiculous hours. I have a job that I can't just leave for a couple of days.
If my colleague offers it again next year and I have time to plan it, then I'll go. But I doubt many of you would be able to get there if you were in my situation.

yeah she's not bad I'm told. As a brother I see that a bit different than the friends who are drooling.

If the paddock pass doesn't allow you to go out to the photography areas I tend to agree. Long Beach, Le Mans and Daytona were massively improved by going as media.

Paddock Pass and Paddock Club Pass are two totally different things. I'm referring to the latter. I've had the former as well and that can be fun, but again the F1 paddock is largely a soleless place at times. Hanging out in the Red Bull energy station was cool though. Great coffee too.

Indeed. Especially at Monaco where they bring an entire barge with them. I counted seven bars.

If you're counting bars at the Red Bull energy station Phil, I'm disappointed in you as you're clearly looking at the wrong things... ;)
