Danica had an honest-to-goodness great race, and no BS caution comes out with Jeff Gordon in contention for the win.

Those things, coupled with the events at Indy, have made for a very strange and surreal day.

That was a really fun race.

I'd honestly say the racing is the best it's been in years… I don't understand the "NASCAR is dead" stuff.

People have been bitching about NASCAR's problems since it's been around. Pick any era, even the years people wish they could go back to, and find an old magazine. You'll see someone's letter bitching about something.

No debris cautions, popular winner, Danica having a good run on merit, good crowd. Pretty good race overall.

Terrible coverage from Fox.

I will admit I had fun watching last nights race and I think a big part of it was the drivers dictated how the race was run and that's it. A great green flag battle ended the race and the two drivers with the fastest cars were running 1-2 at the end. That rarely happens anymore.

I enjoyed the race as well. The cars are still far too aero dependent, and it gets single file and stretched out very quickly, yet there was enough happening to keep it interesting.

Cars are definitely too aero dependent though it showed which drivers had the handle down pat amazingly Danica was one if the best the whole race. That two for one pass off turn four is possibly the best thing I've seen her do behind the wheel of a race car. Also One of the biggest hits this year will be Gilliland's wipe out. A very memorable race.
