My question is, with all the money they spent repaving and rebanking the track, they couldn't pay someone to come even put up a metal building for a few extra cars at the end of the garage? Sheesh.

Local track style. I know they don't expect it, but it would be neat if they had a sportscar/NHRA style "garage" setup.

Every ticket as a pit pass would be badass in NASCAR. One thing I love about NHRA events is how open everything is.

Most of the teams that are on track have removed grill tape and are running around at pace speed to cool the engines since they can't do it with their normal systems during this session

I don't know if this being behind live by about 10 minutes has to do with it, but it might.
