It looks like rain can be a factor tomorrow, as well as possibly Saturday. I sure hope that truck race isn't rained out.

That video of the Toyota Audi battle is fucking AMAZING commentary. The raw excitment and pure passion and emotion in it is utterly bad ass. Fuck James Allen and his fake shouting crap. That video gets the blood pumping. Same as Edwards, Montoya at Michigan.

Stuart Hall's attempt to keep things calm makes that piece of commentary even better

Is there any particular reason Gerhart is able to be so fast other than top teams holding back in practice? The top 10 speeds are a bit huh?

He explained himself that he was put in a situation where he was behind faster cars and was able to pick up a strong draft from them with a small line of cars behind him. That's pretty much how you get good speed without bump drafting.

It's amazing what a show the noobs in the truck series are putting on and any time the cup guys get together there are cars in the wall or fence.

Ya know, Jason White just brought up a great point during truck practice; What if the big one happens during this new qualifying procedure? Nascar are gonna look like a bunch of shitdicks if they only have 18 trucks start Friday night, if teams don't have a backup. 8O

Bad quality, but can't find better.

During Peter Dumbreck's flip at Xaandvort 2004 in the DTM I honestly thought Carlton was having a heart attack tbh.

If he keeps it up he probably will one of these days.

But I like Carlton, he's funny and exciting. He's pretty much the closest thing to a real life Alan Partridge but damn, it's entertaining when he's in the box.
I like him in a completely different way I like "proper" commentators like Edwards, Murray, Haven, etc, but still, he's a character :p

He was bloody awful during the Porsche Supercup races at Abu Dhabi though, reminding us every 5 minutes than Sean Edwards had died. I didn't mind him before that.

:o A right side window blew out of one of the trucks and either whacked or just missed the flag man up in the starters stand!

In final practice for the CWTS Flagman Rodney Wise nearly was decapitated by a flying right side window that popped out of Justin Jennings truck, hope someone capped that!
