that Ferrari is the worst looking car in years. Mclaren's nose is a beauty compared to this melted nose. And where are the driver numbers on the car located? haven't seen one on a car yet, except for that lotus render.

They will certainly be located over the Shell logo on the nosecone.

They don't usually put numbers on launch cars.

But I would assume that the numbers will be on the nose as usual. The only additional requirement is that they also have to be on the helmet.

Think I get it now with regard to legality: The nose is probably so flat that despite its height it still meets the 9000 mm² cross section requirement, is that it? The good news is that would make a Ferrari 641-style duckbill nose legal as well. We may yet see some great looking cars.

My biggest problem with the Ferrari is the livery - it's utterly awful. I'm expecting Ferrari to be all black in 2 years time if they carry on like this

I quite like it. It's still quite jarring, but it's not the worst by a long shot. Plus, the livery is particularly nice - good use of black.

I think kals' post sums it up pretty well, tbh.

My ranking of the F1 cars so far:

1 - Ferrari
2 - McLaren
3 - Lotus
4 - Williams

*Can't add Force India as we've only seen side profile so far.

I quite like the new Ferrari! Althought the livery just sucks. It really needs to have more black like in the old days. Really like this angle, looks quite aggressive

Reminds me of the front of a vacuum cleaner :lol:
