Yes, that's all potentially possible and entirely logical but this is Pirelli's fault. They are the worst thing EVER to happen to F1 and no other tyre companies ever had problems before, right?

It could be debris, but they could be lying again and again! [/AutosportForum]

;)

You (and by you, I mean Autosport Forum experts) are right. No other tyre company in the history of F1 has ever had an issue with it's product, nor has there ever been any failures during a private test of it's future product.

Maybe the team put the damn tyre on backwards again, ignoring all advice and orders from Pirelli, knowing they can blame them anyway.

It's probably ideal these things happen in testing and so early on too that a proper solution can be found before the start of the season.

If F1 didn't have its panties in a bunch about tyres then this would be a non-story.

A friend of a person on another forum says Mercedes ran their engine for a minute before it caught fire.

I don't know whether that's the truth, but he says he trusts him.

Heh, it wasn't until the engine freeze that they got the reliability sorted on the last engine. This could be fun

Adam Cooper reporting that with Sutil & Perez now signed elsewhere, Esteban Guttierez is likely to be staying at Sauber & that its looking increasingly likely that Marcus Ericsson is in at Caterham.

Would be the first Swedish driver to start a race since Truls in 1991

Wirdheim not counted for obvious reasons

I agree with Ivine F1 is going to shit tinkering with gimmicks to spice up the show.

Irvine-“This latest rule of double points for the last race is insanity. That actually made me realise I am not going to watch another race until that rule gets kicked out. That is just embarrassing. It really is. They should be ashamed of themselves.”
