Yes and no. It's the race for touring cars. Part 1 was the great race between Oliver, Kristensen and Stippler, race 2 had the flipping Mini but unknown drivers.

Was that the one with the flipping mini?

I managed to catch about half of it on its live stream (only realising that they'd consented to live streaming after about half of the sunday action had taken place!) but it had no commentary so I wasn't sure which race was which :p
But yeah, all the races I managed to see were great.

OT: but yay, I found the Eurosport program on RFM. Extended highlights of St. Mary's Trophy is included.

Well I'm glad, I was paranoid after we had that discussion that it'd just be on British Eurosport over Christmas and not Europe wide!

I'm downloading a lot of season review stuff on RFM, including the WTCC show, it pisses me right off when I download something for hours at a time then I get the video and it doesn't play or plays very jerkily...
Is there some secret to playing .ts files smoothly I'm missing? *sigh*

Fuck my laptop :(

Try Daum Potplayer. It's one of the best I've ever used. VLC is utter shit, esp for playing heavy files, in case you're using it.

http://daumpotplayer.com/download/

The default aspect ratio of the player is a bit narked so you'll just have to right-click on the screen and set it to default display first time out, that's it.

Come to think about it, was there ever any punishments handed out for all that idiocy in the second Macau race?

Good to see that Mike Earle is still around. It was a shame that Arena folded, even though it was effectively Team Chilton in it's later years.

It will be interesting to see which car they'll be building.

What am I missing here..?

Onyx = Arena
Arlington Industries Group = Chilton

So this is basically the same group of people that ran in BTCC and WTCC up until 2012. Still, it's good to see Earle still around and fun to have the Onyx name back.

Nice to see the name of Onyx coming back after Peter Monteverdi buying the team in 1990/1991?

So I was thinking yesterday that perhaps the program that Earle has been working on these past 9 months could be linked to the suggestions surrounding Kia entering a touring car series?

It won't be Kia. They've already stated they won't be entering any touring car series in the near future.

No Stefano D'Aste this year. :(

Maybe it's time for a thread title change?
