Yes it is before qual

Quote:
Changes may be made at any time before the start of the qualifying practice session provided any change proposed after 16.00 on the day of scrutineering receives the consent of the stewards. Additional changes for reasons of force majeure will be considered separately.

If one of the team’s nominated drivers is unable to drive at some stage after the end of initial scrutineering, and the stewards consent to a change of driver, the replacement driver must use the engine, gearbox and tyres which were allocated to the original driver.

Yes. Same as Glock last year when he was sick at sunday. They couldn't replace him.

I think that would be a little bit logical. Putting a driver into a car to race with not even a single lap done?

There are a lot of nutters out there. I got this message earlier: 'Enjoy the race today. I hope for a jammed throttle'.

"Enjoy your football match. I hope a player gets studs to the skull and causes a serious fracture"

Yeah doesn't sound as funny when it isn't motorsport. Those people aren't nutters - they're c**ts.

Some of the tweets I get (at the F1Zone account) is extremely worrying sometimes. Someone at Monza said Vettel was a cancer for the sport (their words were more abusive than that). It's a cross-section of society and you obviously get some disturbed people.

I used to hope Schumacher would crash so someone else could win. This was when I was 12 though, I grew the fuck up. Vettel has nothing on the domination Schumacher had, besides, the race for every other position is infinitely better than it was, for argument sake, in 2002 and 2004.

People who talk like that, don't deserve to follow the sport. They are the lowest common denominator.

We all used to hope for the occasional crash and stuff, but saying "jammed throttle" has a much more sinister tone to it. It's far worse than even 12 year old you wanted. I think that says a lot about the maturity of some people, where even 12 year olds have more grown up thoughts than then.

I think all will depend on the start as to how this race goes. Rosberg needs to get ahead of Vettel. Fingers crossed Grosjean doesn't cause mayhem.

Ugh, Beiber and Rhianna there. Not like Brundle will get to speak to them or anything.

How many Safety cars will interrupt the race is the real question. Maldonado or Grosjean to cause the first SC?

Two, neither. It'll be Chilton causing the first.
