Well, that's something unexpected.

Could be interesting, but unfortunately I'm fairly sure they're going to rape Peraltada.

Mexico city is like a cooler Monza. I approve. Really hope they keep the banking in the parabolica, don't know if that kinda stuff is still allowed by the FIA nowadays.

Hasn't it already been destroyed? It hasn't had banking for years.

Yeah there's no banking. Thinking about it I don't think there's much they can do with run off because there isn't any space, but they'll probably have an A1GP-style chicane or run them through the stadium or something.

Do you not remember what they did to it the last time international motor racing used the circuit?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

A chicane is preferable to the stadium section as at least you keep some form of flow to the track with it, wheras the tight stadium section does nothing for the high speed nature of the track nor allowing the cars to get close on the long run down the front straight.

Willing to bet it'll be a street race in Curitiba or somewhere if it does happen though...

Ah didn't knew the Parabolica had no banking anymore :( . I knew Champcar had a chicane before the Parabolica.

LOL Geography fail...

IIRC there was a city in mexico beginning with C Champcar came close to running a street race at in the mid part of the last decade.
Obviously I've forgotten exactly which one but it looked likely at one stage and I wonder if that city still has designs on having a race.

Cancun? Even F1 was rumoured to go there.

I knew Champcar drove in Monterrey and even A1GP on a semi street circuit.

That's the one!

Please keep off Monterrry though, it was designed for Bikes and every chicane there seemed designed to prevent overtaking more than anything, some bizarre track design decisions when into that place somehow.

I like the industrial scenery though (unless I'm confusing with another track)

Nope, that's the one. Pretty unique looking track (with some uniquely shitty chicanes, like codename said).

Mexico City would be additional challenge for engine manufacturers due to high altitude.

Raikkonen wants to stay on at Lotus but wants it to be the Renault factory team next year basically (from what I understand).

Seems like a reasonable request to the French manufacturer.
