Generic historic race. Completely random race for RLM, and very uninteresting. But it's cheap low end historics, so they'll probably get raced rather than driven around slowly.

Now I've listened to more of the MWM podcast as I've gone back and forth on trains....

They're covering it because Hindy is racing in it, so that makes more sense I guess.

Doubt there'll be a video stream in that case, unless it's from that website...

Ho Pin Tung (OAK Racing Morgan) on pole at Inje. Only 8 cars took part in qualifying (2 LMP2s, 1 GTE, 4 GT3s and 1 GT300).

Wow that GTE driver must fight hard for his podium.

Can you say "Cancelled in a matter of weeks?"

I think the next 2 scheduled meetings will be raced eventually, but I wouldn't be surprised to see this series disappear in 2014. A shame really, since it's an intriguing concept.

Looks like the Japan Le Mans Challenge fiasco of 2006-2007.

Ah, and while I'm at it, the race was won by KCMG and their Morgan-Nissan driven by James Winslow, Gary Thompson and 16 years old Akash Nandy. Second place for Andrea Bertolini, Michele Rugolo and Steve Wyatt on a Ferrari 458 GT3 and GT300 Taisan Porsche in third.

It was nice seeing you make they say: "it was recorded in 4:3" to then admit it was originally on 16:9 but they did a clumsy job on it. You really won it :p

Yeah, one hell of a weekend!

These series are already great on almost every track, so on such one, it can't be bad.

IIRC, last years races on Road America had very tense finishes on both series. I think Negri and Barbosa had some contact on main straight on penultimate lap or so, and ALMS battle in P1 was pretty much decided on finish line, wasn't it?

Looks like the race won't be streamed because it is not mentioned here (typically it is): http://www.alms.com/races/orion-energy-systems-245

Probably due the ABC contract...

Speaking of contracts, USCR gets 5 year Fox Sports deal: http://www.grand-am.com/News/GA_News/ta ... -deal.aspx

Which is great for those who get the new Fox Sports 1 channel. Still not confirmed on a number of providers.
