Yeaa, can't think of any other Maltese drivers myself.

Yes he is the first Maltese driver to make it to a decent circuit-racing competition. We've only got a decent drag racing facility down here and a Maltese team actually won the european FIA championship last year. Other than that I think the only Maltese to have competed in a motorsport event abroad was in Drifting (Shawn Spiteri).

I've known Jacques for a while, very nice guy. He was insanely quick on karts but this is obviously a hell of a lot more different than what we have here.

He was a bit unlucky with the tests because most of them either rained or snowed through, but hopefully he can get some experience.
