The 2013 German Formula 1 Grand Prix will be hosted at the Nürburgring.

That's better. I prefer the Nurburgring compared to Hockenheim.

Then on friday, it's Ferrari at 9:30 GMT and Force India at 10:15 GMT.
On saturday it's Sauber at 11:00 GMT.

Can't wait... :)

That covered car is really strange looks much more like a truck or something.

It is just the angle of the picture, it makes the nose profile look much high than it is.

Tomorrow we'll probably see the best looking car of the season, as was the case in many times, IMO, with Mclaren.

I always loved the chrome livery and, unlike many, don't want any big change to it. Lotus' was meh, but Macca should provide a better show with their launch

Yeah also like the Chrome livery. But I preferred the 2006 layout.

I liked 1997 but since then it's been a little bland and boring. I haven't liked any of the revised liveries since West left. But it's far from the worst on the grid. I doubt it will have changed as the grey / silver, black and red are McLaren's corporate colours.

They were both Mercedes and McLaren drivers, promised the world. Now Green has finally realised his single seated career is long dead and buried, and Mercedes doesn't care, so he's joined Audi. Paffet has been testing McLarens forever and his career has stalled.

I don't see DTM as a good seat when you're meant to he in F1, having signed for both McLaren and Mercedes junior program's.

If someone wanted Paffett or Green or thought much of them in F1, they'd have them. Webber and Heidfeld left that ship. Paffett's got more miles in an F1 car than anyone I can think of that's active right now. DTM/Sportscars is the extent of his abilities. And good for Green, if he leverages that drive the way Treluyer and Lotterer have done, that's a very good career ahead of him. Say he goes to F1 with Williams or Red Bull or something like that. Is he really better off getting bounced after a year or two instead of going somewhere where he can establish himself and carve out a niche? What if he gets a factory Audi drive in the near future in the WEC? It's not enough to risk it going to F1 unless you know you're in a position with a factory team, building relationships, or with a proven commodity.

I believe you are underestimating the desire that drivers have to race in F1. How many drivers do you know of that have turned down the opportunity to race in F1?

Speaking of Jamie Green possibly becoming Audi LMP factory driver in the future. Allan McNish was 31 years old and was in his first year as factory driver for Audi when he departed for newly formed Toyota F1 team. He spent the 2001 season testing and 2002 as driver for Toyota F1 first season. He wasn't retained and became Renault test driver for 2003. He seems to have done very well for himself since he left F1.

He had won Le Mans at the point where he left for F1. He was established. I think more and more drivers are getting wise that getting to F1 isn't a ticket that will open doors for you later on in your career if you aren't established.

Great news.

And I don't think McLaren's livery will change this year, but we'll see.

In the very begining of the "Launch Show", there were around 11K people watching it on youtube. After they said it would be a one hour preparation to the actual launch, it dropped imediately to less than half with figures around 4 or 5 K viewers by now

If they don't get late again(even if it was by a couple of minutes :p), the car presentation should start in 14 minutes

The reality is though that both drivers just were not good enough for Mclaren yet ended up with decent careers in DTM, so instead of getting to f1 and not having a job in a few years they've managed really good careers ouside of it.
