Former FIA doctor Gary Hartstein has said that his use of Twitter was a key reason why Todt decided to get rid of him.

Way to go with fan interaction.

Only Sport Bild reporting it. Are their quotes true?

Their sport sources are usually reliable. Could be off to DTM with BMW, would explain this tweet from earlier today

Seems to make sense. BMW still have seats free, don't they? Plus Glock was with BMW in 2007.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Depends - and assuming if this is true - who fills the second seat. It's not a secret that Marussia runs on a very low budget, and they'll be hardest hit by the price hike for the 2014 engines.

Sorry to revert to the drivers viewpoint discussion, but this video Rosberg gives some interesting additional details:

The story seems to be that Marussia could no longer afford to pay Timo's salary.

Indeed he is, but Wolff is also co-owner of HWA.

Too bad to see him leave, I thought there was some more potential.

Wolff has kept his shares in Williams ... anyone think we'll see them switch to Mercedes engines for 2014? Not sure how long their contract with Renault runs ... I wouldn't have thought it was a post-2014 deal though, considering when it was done and the insecurity that still hangs over this area.

A shame to see both Glock (and Kovalainen seemingly) out of seat(s) on cash constraints ... but then again, it has also been a shame to see his talent not being put to better use for three years. I hope he can find a good ride somewhere else, as a former Toyota driver, perhaps in sports cars?
