JB works because it is something Button has been known by (personally) for many years and it's his initials and it is on his helmet. That's not in dispute.

Glad I'm not the only one who finds the other pish (thanks ellis, great and forgotten word!) cringeworthingly annoying.

Put it in the word filter so it will be automatically corrected into the real names.

As long as there is no confusion and everybody knows who we're talking about, I don't think it is right to forbid people to express themselves as they want just because other people are annoyed by it (freedom of speech and all).

If it's a completely ridiculous nickname (like Lolonso, or RoGro) they will just make a fool of themselves and that is all.

And internet forums would ultimately, like the rest of life, be a much poorer place without people occasionally making fools out of themselves ...

And RoGro is just fucking moronic.

RoGro crashes into FerAlo, whilst MaWeb takes avoiding action, allowing SebVet to take the lead. Yeah, stop this pish please.

Thank goodness Grosjean's first name isn't Nicolas. The DailyMail would have a field day with that one.

There's a reason why it's BOTTAS

And ha, I like to think so, although Hadsley conducted most of the interview with Paul Hembery. Face to face interviews are currently my weak point - I want to change that this year though!

C'mon Kals don't hold back....

You know it's Alan Partridge he needs to be watching to be the complete media professional.

Worked for me.

Yeah but it's not the total media professional that Phil wants help with, it's the one-to-one interviews. Ali G is the master of that.

Yeah, Captain Alert here thought of a couple of questions for Paul Hembery...when I was on the train home. D'oh! And be more assertive. Wattie ignored us. Bastard. :p

End of moan. (Sorry Artur Craft, this moan was nothing against you).

It's ok ;)

In this case, I didn't post that way because of lazyness. I don't follow british broadcasters much but once I heard Brundle calling Button by that. Then I intended to make a little fun with Bianchi on that one.

PS: I intentionally posted with the English phonetics of it because "J" and "B" are pronounced very differently to English in any other language I know(some 4 or 5) and I just like the sound of it(in English), probably because it's idiotic.

I was just going to add about what was being said about Webber. He seems to do well mid-season, if you look at the statistics compared to Vettel.

Monaco > Hungary (2009-2012)
Vettel: 12 poles, 4 wins, 13 podiums | Webber: 6 poles, 6 wins, 14 podiums

But then when you get to the Tilke tracks at the end of the year, the change is staggering. Both of Webber's wins post-Hungary have been in Brazil, one of them when Vettel's gearbox was breaking.

Belgium > Brazil (2009-2012)
Vettel: 14 poles, 14 wins, 21 podiums | Webber: 2 poles, 2 wins, 12 podiums

In fact, Webber's never won at a Tilke designed circuit, while Vettel's taken 13 of his wins there. I find it a remarkable comparison; maybe there's something about his designs that don't suit Webber at all?
