Na, they won't show it live, we don't even get it live here, they do usually have the NZGP on about an hour after it's been run

Here's the confirmed drivers so far http://www.toyotaracing.co.nz/wp-conten ... Dec-12.pdf I'm guessing it'll be a battle between Nick Cassidy & Alex Lynn for the title

Didn't Perry once say she didn't actually like F1? Lee McKenzie would have been a better choice imo.

Lee McKenzie is good at what she does now. Everytime she's the anchor she flatters to deceive. Suzy has been fronting motorsport for 15 odd years, is very good and extremely popular.

Suzi is a flirt who ruined MotoGP coverage with her constant on screen OTT flirting with the riders, so as you can guess I'm not a great fan, but she will probably slot into the presenters role for F1 quiet well considering she is the female version of EJ and they'll no doubt play off each other quiet well with DC in the shadows looking sheepish (he has actually renewed his contract hasn't he? I think it was up for renew at the same time as Jakes).

France still has no TV broadcaster for F1 in 2013 and beyond.

She will be ideal for the casual following that F1 is trying to attract and is the BBC's alternative to that little make-up lathered troll on Sky.

That's a lady you're talking about sir!

I think during Suzi's MotoGP days one of the riders nicknamed her Suzi no knickers.

I don't like Anthony Davidson either but that is not a nice thing to say about him.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Sorry BBC.

*snort*

Actually Kals, I thought she'd be a little too old for the BBC's target audience, more like she's the MILF appeal to those 40+.

And no GP either....

Does France just care less about the sport these days, or do you reckon they're holding out for a last minute cheap deal? :?

Codename mentioned they have no GP. That is what Tobias answered about. You know this. Stop acting like an idiot by just being difficult.

as far as I can see, a possible return for the French GP was nothing more than a point in the presidential elections. Had it been Sarkozy, chances would have been higher (but still not sure) for a GP there in '13. With Hollande there's near 0 chance, unless Bernie funds it.

anyway, sorry for the confusion. I indeed hinted at the GP itself, not the TV rights (which are the subject of this thread).

I am NOT an idiot. And I didn't act like one. Codename mentioned the no GP thing in the context of the TV rights. Tobias answered which looks like Hollande is even responsible for the TV rights. And that is clearly not the case. That is why I asked. Maybe I missed something.
I just wanted to get the facts rights so there is no need to insult me.

RE Suzi v Lee - BBC need a presenter for the front of the show, and should keep their reporters doing their thing. Jake was never a reporter, but a great presenter. Hopefully Suzi can do the same.

In France last news say that D8 will show the races and Canal+ (paying channel) the free practices and qualifyings but nothing official for the moment.
