I suppose another good thing resulting from Scottish independence is that the BBC will no longer be duty bound to print Stewart's drivel anymore.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

That he's developed an intolerance to lactose and won't be able to eat ice cream anymore. Damn, no more ice cream jokes.

So he's promoting clothing. Wow.

Clever marketing though.

Should be interesting where Alguersuari ends up. He seems pretty adamant that he will be in F1 next year.

Apparently Susie Wolff drove a FW33 today, she was within a few tenths of her next competitor without KERS and promotional tyres.

Not sure why Stewart suggests Vettel has the best car. It's true it is the best car around right now, but Ferrari is not far off. What bothers me though is that the quote of Stewart seems to imply that the Red Bull has been the best car all season long. That is most certainly not true. It's only since Singapore that things have started taking 2011-forms again.

You can say Alonso drove brilliantly in a crap car, which is in part true and in part not (because that car is not at all 'crap' anymore and hasn't been for a long while). But Alonso has had a lot of luck too. Vettel has had his fair share of bad luck this season (Malaysia, but most notably Valencia).

I guess that in Malaysia Vettel pulled across way to early, in my opinion it was his fault or at least a racing incident.
Then look at Bahrain and at Ferrari's crap car, Alonso could barely score points, meanwhile Vettel had a car which was able to win.

Vettel retired with bad luck in Valencia and in Monza, but Alonso retired in Spa. In Suzuka it was a racing incident with Kimi.
Vettel and Alonso are just equal in "bad luck" things, but Alonso's performance this year must be one of the best in history.

But there is other driver who had bad luck: Hamilton.
Would he lead the championship? I can remember an incident with Maldonado, uncountable pit-stop problems, the penalty in Barcelona and the crash with Grosjean. Poor guy Hamilton, he would deserve to be up there.

In my opinion Hamilton is on top of the list with bad luck. Adding to the incidents you mentioned there is the gearbox failure in Singapore, which possibly cost him 25 points, and the mechanical issues in Japan and Korea.

It's all a big 'if' but Hamilton certainly deserved to be fighting for the championship, I can't remember any (big) mistake from him this year. Can't say this for McLaren though, although I would really want it they simply don't deserve the constructors championship.

Yeah, Hamilton has been very impressive this season. Only second to Alonso really. Last season he kept making stupid mistakes, and this time it's the team.

The only criticism of Lewis would be his set-up choice in Spa and the fact he could have allowed Maldonado through in Valencia, although the stewards agreed that it was Pastor's fault anyway.
