I bet it'll be Texas. I want it to be Pocono though.

Eurospeedway > Pocono >>> Cleveland > Phoenix > Road America >>> Portland > Laguna Seca > Chicagoland > Texas

Texas World is a Michigan clone, or rather Michigan is a TWS clone, so seeing as Auto Club is a clone of Michigan, well you get it.

California is banked 14 degrees, Michigan is banked 18 degrees, and TWS is banked 22.

That won't happen. Sunday is a Chevrolet event.

It'll be at Texas, no time for promotion for Pocono.

Okay. :o I always thaught California would be steeper banked cause CART used to be faster there than they were at Michigan.

I think the radius of the corners at Auto Club are larger than those at Michigan

Replacements I'd like to see in order of preference (likelyhood of happening in brackets)

CLEVELAND!! (Pipe dream)
Road America (possible, more likely for 2013 and that'd probably be better for the event long term than late planning one for this year..)
Laguna Seca (not great for racing, not likely to happen, but so want)
Road Atlanta (Don Panoz, Y U NO LIKE OPEN WHEEL )
New Hampshire (Prob not gonna be back for a while sadly, as like Milwaukee that was real racin' as fuck )
Portland (Not even talked about since Champcar went away, shame really but prob never be seen again, Open wheel cars outgrew it a bit)
Lime Rock (hurr...yeah right)
Denver (Probably dead forever, though you don't know with Indycars recent addiction to new street races. The Best street track layout that I've ever seen though, really miss the mile wide turn!)

long gap

Texas (Most likely it seems, sadly despite the good race I don't wanna give that dick Gossage any more money or reasons to be a dick )

Yeah the modern Denver street track layout was great. It was simple but provided some of the best street racing in recent memory.

Back to disagreeing with Paul...

It's a good oppertunity to bridge the Oval/Road devide... Now. I know you still cream at the mention of the letters CCWS, but over on this side of the pond, we like turning solely left once in a while...

Pocono, or Dover seem logical to me..

Dover is already a proven bad idea IMO. Just look at the brutal crashfests when they race there a couple times in the late 90s.

Eldora imo

And have Darrell Waltrip ride in the two-seater in there.
