Yet to see the first one, is it available to buy on DVD?

I guess, but if you can't find it's on Youtube (not officially of course): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFwoxM1MiBw

The shortened-for-Speed version has finally appeared at RFM, but I'd skip it because the download counter at truth-in-24.com has now moved back to next Monday: http://truth-in-24.com/film

I found a HD copy on youtube afterwards. Is the full version the 90 minutes long?

Confused :? Found copy of which one? The link I gave is the first film, and there's only one cut of it (there is a version with another narrator (not Statham) but length is same). The second one about to be released tomorrow - supposedly two versions, the 45-min Speed version and then the full lenght version. We'll find out tomorrow how long the full version is.

Two days ago, Murphy heard Lola is "close to Administration."

Lola's issues are pretty well known throughout the composites industry. A few weeks ago we heard of layoffs over there. Sure, could be seasonal, but these were followed shortly by rumors of the organization going into Administration. I'm just passing on what I've heard through the grape vine.

Earlier for some time the counter did point to May 22. So that seems to be the correct date now.

Statement from Lola Group Holdings Ltd

The latest economic downturn and the decision of HMRC not to pay ongoing R&D tax credits has caused a serious cashflow problem for the businesses. It is with enormous regret that a decision has been taken to issue Notices of intention to appoint an Administrator to Lola Cars International Limited and Lola Composites Limited. This step allows the board to continue its discussions with possible investors and prospective purchasers with a view to securing the best outcome for the staff, creditors and customers of both businesses.

The Lola board have declined to make further comment until Monday 21st May.

What does the lola news mean for the near future? No lola cars at Le Mans?

The immediate and near future, nothing. The cars are already purchased by the teams. Whilst Lola are going through administration they should still be able to operate, so parts should still be available. Should a buyer not be found, spare parts are going to start getting rarer, which will cause problems for teams should someone else not be able to manufacture them.

Long term effects are pretty bad though. Sportscar racing doesn't have a huge amount of chassis producers, and Lola is one of, if not the best there is. Losing them will cause problems. Maybe someone like Drayson could be a buyer
