I'll be at the test day tomorrow by the way. And for the 1st time there will be a race on sunday, the Ligier European Cup will race at 14:00 tomorrow. Not sure if there will be a stream.

Best race of the year :flag:

As for the poll, it largely depends on where the BoP Wheel of Fuck You lands. But I've gone for Porsche based on how they've been running this year (and the fact there's 6 of them)

Doesn't show "+/-" to previous round as apparently LM BoP is a different calculation.

Spa for comparison: http://fiawec.alkamelsystems.com/Result ... 052024.pdf

Likely more adjustments after test day.

Don't think they'd set up the cameras and operators a week in advance

Maybe in the future drones will become acceptable enough they can just have a few hovering around the track to give us coverage so they don't have to pack up camera and hide them for a week so they don't get stolen....

What probably sucks about it is having a race on Test day where there's no cameras probably takes 1 race away from later in the week when some of the cameras show up.... :yuk:

It is an extra event, there's already 2x Lamborghini Super Trofeo and 2x Michelin Le Mans Cup, plus Fun Cup on Friday.

Fun cup? the VW Beetles running at 30mph series? Around circuit de la sarthe? Are you kidding? :8:

Already present in 2021, the Fun Cup is back at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The famous Beetle will once again tackle the 13.626 km of the legendary Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans. For 2024, the goal is to gather 118 cars, making it the largest grid in Le Mans history. Drivers will compete in a 4-hour endurance race on Friday, June 14th.

They better take the rev limiters off them then :8:

But hey, racing with zero TV coverage to catch their incidents is meat and drink to those guys, I hope there's a lot of fancam filmers around the track because I don't think their TV coverage, such as it is, has ever caught any of their incidents

Probably no tv coverage though as Friday is an off-day for Monza camera men.

That's old school thinking though isn't it?

We have full camera work for the full 24 hours now right, maybe things have changed with the unions and we'll see more of the supports too :?

Can't find a stream that's not 1 minute (or more) behind live timing.

Finally see the reason for a yellow. #65 beaches it on cold tyres.
