Slow zones have been quietly more dangerous compared to any other caution type period and no-one talks about it

Causing more carnage than they're saving now....

Yeah, I don't really get this safe zone concept...saw another check-up accident in the Ferrari Challenge race at Le Mans earlier today. How does it determine position? What if two cars are battling for position as they approach the slow zone? Who backs off? Seems like a pretty weird and dangerous thing to me.

Slow zones were introduced in 2014. Nearly always the drivers that fuck up in the zones are Am drivers so there's isn't much that can be done about it.

There are literally hundreds of gentlemen (and ladies) on track during the N24 and there are no problems. If the ACO were to do something sensible for once and ensure that breaking those parts of the sporting regs that are in place for safety will carry severe, career-damaging penalties, there will not be any problems here either.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I think Eduardo used the SC as soon as he could while the field wasn't spread out to see how it worked and now he's avoiding it like the plague.

I had the same thought. The crashes of the last 30 minutes were much heavier than in the 1st lap, yet no SC. Looks like race control just don't want to use it anymore.

With how long it adds just for all the sorting the classes out I don't blame him.

Anyway, in less than 2 hours of racing, we have had 3 different manufacturers leading the race.

And Porsche makes 4

It was during the first laps (harder to take it slow) so probably that played a role. The procedure was already tested during test day.
