Great racing this weekend, no DRS required. It's amazing what happens when you put proper cars on a circuit, isn't it?

Coming out of this weekend genuinely excited for this series for the first time in a while. I'm loving seeing the cars with less grip and more of a handful, and a few new names up front. The Mustangs are on the pace, they just need to sort their random fires, terrible pitting and wrecking other Mustangs out.

SVG opened up on the whole media sideshow (regarding him not towing the promotional line with the Gen3 cars) that happened at Newcastle

gptta say, very similar vibes to how the NASCAR NextGen deal felt at the start of the year - just without the high fear of safety issues

The annual trip out West is this weekend.

https://www.supercars.com/news/championship/2023-perth-supersprint-track-schedule-released/

Reynolds and Hazelwood topped the first practice. Some slight parity changes have been made to both cars, also a few changes to prevent the fires that occurred at the Grand Prix.

It's looking good for Brown in race 2. He currently leads by 12 seconds over SVG with most people having pitted.

Brown wins in an Erebus 1-2. Courtney, Mostert and SVG rounded out the top 5.

He doesn't seem to have much pace in this one, he's not gaining even though he's in clear-ish air now.

aero still seems an issue with this car + drivers never want to give up a position, even to Shane
