Imo they should build roofs. You know like on a house so they can race.

I thought you were talking about Bologna Motor Show, but they just anticipated a long trend now used by F1 to race on car parks

That is glorious! Bring that back.

That's stomach churning. Were there any severe injuries suffered?

they'll do 30 minutes of SC parade and then realizing it was all for nothing and the farce is complete

This feels like an effort to give the fans some cheap entertainment Spa 2021 style...give them a couple laps behind the SC before calling off the race.

Takagi (orange car flying upside down) and Fernandez (green car who got it on his head) went to hospital, for leg and thoracic vertebrea fractures respectively. They recovered fine and raced after that

The other thing I'm wondering with the Gasly incident is, if they adjust the delta time to account for poor visibility/rain, or if they just use the same SC delta as if it were a dry session.

They'l need 5 years to change that rule. Or wait until the end of current regulations until they make such a complicated change.

That would also require logic, which the FIA doesn't have

Sainz would have been fine. If the cars are that fragile that a relatively low speed impact in the wet kills the driver you’ve got bigger problems,

This is a dangerous sport, the only way to make it 100% safe is to not do it.

the major problem could be a concussion or some kind of trauma

Commentator says they see sky clearing up towards the sea. Hopefully we can get this 40-min race going

Please, don't spin for at least 2 laps.

Yes that's a major problem of leaving the couch and racing cars at speed

If the drivers don’t like the risk they can always step out the car and say no, like Prost and Lauda did.

The perfect anticlimax would be leclerc spinning off and max getting just enough points to win it

How many laps before they pit for inters? I'd say 5 for some backmarkers

I hope Latifi doesn't bin it under the SC and ruin our chances of a restart.

Doesn’t it have to go green first before they can pit for inters?

Fuck, they should just mandate full wets for the rest of the race. Cause the first person spinning off on inters is going to red flag this shit again.
