Still waiting that airplane crash to happen. Though, better here than at Jeddah.

Domenicali in the Sky commentary box atm, they asked if F1 needs new teams, the reply was simply "no". Sigh.

"We definitely need more teams don't we Stefano"

"No, we have a market, it is a business and it makes the teams stronger financially to be 20 instead of 24"

"We need more seats for all these up and coming talented drivers to find a berth in Formula 1 though don't we?"

"No, that would damage the business of the sport"

I'm paraphrasing, but mannnnn

Stefano Domenicalli must go

Just tuned into FP3 and I want to punch Stefano Domenicalli so hard. Talking about Ricciardo and sorry for him that there are not enough seats available. Is asked point blank do we need more teams then? No. A hard No.

Then goes on to give the lamest excuse of we need to balance the sport, and essentially confirms that no teams have a chance unless they have copious amounts of money, ie. no one other than the big three will ever win it. But it is all about the balance blah blah blah.

What a clown and a sell out. I warned everyone he's the wrong choice for CEO, but he's an excellent little puppet.

He's absolute shit as F1 boss. But he sucked at Ferrari so it's not a surprise. The unbridled greed is going to shoot them in the foot when they don't do anything to shure up the future health of the sport.

I still can't fathom the stupidity in scheduling three US races and then blocking the BIGGEST name from entering the series. That's fucking money in the bank right there. But nope, the teams are too afraid to split their current pie that they will throw away the chance to have an even bigger one.

The joke's gonna be on them when this whole thing blows up with the economy in the next two to three years. (I don't want that to happen, but I think it's inevitable)

Yeah, big financial crisis and we end up with 6 teams. Even with 3-car-teams (oh god no) that would make 18.

If I was an F1 emperor, I would make 1989 the target. Emulate everything what was done back then to allow 40 cars.

F1 and more teams remind me of that family guy episode where Peter goes abstinence and Louis forces herself on him. Peter kicking and screaming until he realizes what is happening.

Sure, at first the teams might take a small financial hit but in the long run F1 will generate even more money as bigger grids will attract more spectacle.
Assuming there won’t be a massive financial crash worldwide because income will then drop regardless of grid size

Domenicali is absolutely a weird character, those you don't understand how he always falls upwards, I'd say he learned how to blackmail with the masters of this practice like Briatore

Unless he got held up, it might be worth bunging Ricciardo another couple of million and pulling the chain.

Great from Tsunoda, though.

Gee I thought it would unfathomable, but is Ricciardo at risk of not seeing out the season?
