That near wreck in turn 2 gave him the win basically. Then Earnhardt, I'll give him credit, didn't go for a "take it or wreck em" move in 3 and 4. Not the most exciting finish in the world but it was exciting to watch at the end.

Agreed. They could've gotten themselves sorted out and made moves but they didn't. At least they didn't cause a stupid last lap crash. Sad that that's the standard now.

had been the opposite with Gragson behind it would be utter derpness in the finish

True. I still prefer that to a lot of the cheap moves these guys always pull on each other at SS races as of late.
