Had to check Wikipedia as well. I guess we're suffering from Mandela effect.

Just caught up with the channel 4 showing

Thank god I didn't watch that one live, immediately saw Schumacher's incident was a bad one and he was out of it from the half a second shot of him resting before FOM cut away

At least On C4 the anxiety about a crash and a driver's condition are removed, they just showed the crash, said he was ok, showed the replays in about 2 mins, not a 30 min wait for news or whatever you guys had to wait through

Feels like there's so many headlines this weekend we can't even keep it straight
Some mid-Barcelona or Paul Ricard sorta meeting would have one big crash or one surprise in qualifying and that will suit us all weekend

But just this weekend we've had

Serious threats to the race
Marshal being fired for being a dick
F2 stewards fucking over the leader of that race
Lewis out in Q1
Perez first pole, outqualifying Max
MSC huge crash and out of the race

Just ONE of those things would be huge news on its own, but Jesus Christ ALL OF THEM AT ONCE?

And it's only Saturday?

Might watch the race via C4 highlights too, it'll be good for cutting out all the red flag periods :whistling:

Off the top of my head, apart from Grosjean's fireball, probably Alonso's smash into the wall and flip in Australia would be the next highest?. Then maybe Sainz's head on into the wall in Russia?

Lewis will be like Schumacher, when he is no longer racing people will miss him. I don't like him as a person, am bored of him winning (well, probably not this year lol) but I will miss him when he isn't racing.

These new helmet cams have just reiterated to me how good he is (and the others). Watching how fast and how hard it is from the drivers perspective really drives the point home at just how good he is at being on the edge lap after lap after lap.
