Yeah, I think it was really distinctive despite being a colour that shouldn't stand out. It's a shame that they couldn't combine the black and silver, which they managed on previous cars.

They seem to be the first team not trying to direct exhaust gasses to the rear wing but instead not utilizing them at all. Or am I just not seeing the exhaust?

so the silver rats are back, I can hate the evil corporation once again without remorse when they start raping the field

Is it me or Mercedes does have the most different rear wing so far?

I was kinda expecting more to be honest. They have had two years to work on it and I was expecting it to be some really crazy unique design like the Ferrari. I mean it is still probably going to be the class of the field, but I was hoping for some Tyrell high nose 1990 type innovation, that revolutionizes car design. There may be, but its more little details rather than wow.

Gary Anderson's (one of the few F1 journo's I respect tbh) view of the Ferrari is either they're right or everyone else is with their design philosiphy

The choices they've made for 2022 means if they've got it right, Ferrari will be dominant and the rest of the teams playing catch up as they try and copy them, or they've fucked it up and will be to the rear of the mid pack until they fall in line with the rest of the teams

It's too early to know, but based on Ferrari's past history, place your bets now....

that'll depend on what FIA says is legal or not. Quite sure if Ferrari leaps ahead Herr Wolff will go have a small chat and change things before Monaco

Obviously those guys know more about F1 designs than me but I doubt they can make such assessments based on what the teams are willing to show so far.

RBR is the only one that hasnt properly shown their real car (of those that revealed them) iirc so maybe they think they found something. But we wont know where everyone stands until the first weekend

OR RBR just spent the least effort in the mock car they presented.
