I think today pretty much settles the constructors title though.

What a shame man, was looking forward to a property battle, but today just feels like a fixed/fabricated result.

Too little too late for Bottas to be celebrating. Off to Alfa Romeo, lol.

So one more crash to decide the title as those two can't coexist in close battles anymore.

I can’t believe that wing held on. Max’s entire rear end was off the ground there.

They better slap Lewis hard for that crash. That was utterly moronic

Next week is going to be even worse than this was. All Max has to do is cause a crash and he wins the title.

Lewis just didn't want to pass.
I can remember he did the same thing in Spa 2008.
It just seems so fixed that they have to be equal, to keep the Drive to Survive drama.

Out of everyone, Norris got screwed over by that red flag the most.

Didn’t work in 1997

But it did in 94!

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

And that’s why it didn’t work in 97 and won’t work in 21

Clearly not a brake check as Lewis was also slowing down well before the contact. That was more Schumacher\Coulthard at Spa.

But why was Lewis not just driving by?

He was timing his attack. That's what i thought at the moment but could be wrong, was watching without sound

I can see room for debate on whether or not Max brake checked Lewis, but if you think Lewis ran into him on purpose you’re delusional.

That seems a stretch for me. But even if it’s true I hardly blame him. Max was trying his best to make the penalty meaningless, so why should Hamilton play along with someone trying to game the system. He should know because he did the same thing against Raikkonen all those years ago at Spa.

Can you blame Max for trying it either though? As you just said, Hamilton's done the same himself. Unless the FIA designate a zone somewhere around the lap where you have to give places back, the drivers are always going to try it on

You have to do it so that it looks like a technical issue. Maybe the steering wheel will get loose at the start, which will lead to a collision. Or Perez "forgets" to brake and takes out everyone, including Lewis :whistling:

Stop making sense. It used to be the job of the stewards to make sense, but this requirement was removed a while ago.

I'm not sure. I don't know that Schumacher would definitely have been thrown out if he had hit the right part of Villeneuve. A championship decided in a court room? Not what Liberty would want.

My expectation is that Max gets some sort of bullshit grid penalty that keeps them apart at the start and if Hamilton's engine doesn't expire he will cruise to victory.
