Why do they withhold this information in TV broadcast? I like Dorna better, because they are quite informative when it comes to reporting about injuries. Although they are used to injuries anyway.

There needs to be a middle ground. I understand not showing replays for a fatal accident. If it's a serious looking accident but the driver gets out of the car, with or without help, then show us the moving driver. Showing nothing just makes us worry and speculate.

With Grosjean's accident, they could have easily cut back when we saw him walking back across the track. Instead, we thought he was dead for 2/3 minutes.

Yeah, at least show something. Let's build the fastest street track with a very high chance of big crashes, but when they happen we will censor them (not that this crash couldn't have happened on any other track)

Fittipaldi's car was missing the front up to the axles as it was being driven away on the flatbed. No word on whether it fell off or was cut off as part of the extraction.

I would assume not. Early during the coverage on this, I think the commentator said the rest of the day’s schedule after the F2 race is locked in. That was why this was on the verge of being cancelled (and probably why this race is now shortened).
