Well, there was little to see except Hamilton.

2nd is arguably a better grid position at this track than 1st tbh

Sprint proved that it'll only work with reverse grids

Ok, so I was wrong about how high Hamilton would get.

With the short track the field spread isn't as much which was major damage control for Hamilton and allowed him to get much higher with all the DRS-assisted passes than he would've on most other tracks.

Sainz, man of the sprint race. What a bold drive. Expect him to go for first tomorrow

Great damage limitation from Hamilton, he's only starting 4 places lower than he probably would have done without the DSQ. That car is a rocket ship this weekend

That fresh ICE by Mercedes is looking like a good decision now. It certainly appears to have a lot more grunt down the straights than the other Mercedes powered cars.

Yep... fresh engine just before 3 power hungry tracks (that will probably suit Mercedes even without a new engine). This championship is by no means over

That was a pretty tast drive from Lewis, definitely making full use of the new engine. Bottas did surprisingly well too.

Leclerc seemed to pull several nasty moves under braking, though. Hopefully somebody has a word with him before he launches someone.

All in all this has been the best sprint race by far. But it didn´t prove that having sprint races is a good thing per se, but more that it is only fun when the faster cars start at the back.

Sure, if we ignore Sainz' lunge forward, a lead change, a close battle for the lead, a midfield scrap between McLaren and Ferrari.

I don't feel that I have to be 100% pro or 100% against everything, I'm not American

What this experiment proves, is that a sprint race at tracks like Interlagos, is a better idea than a regular week-end at tracks like Mexico.

Yep was pretty surprised after being super aggressive with Norris he then didn't really defend against Hamilton

It will be hard to keep Lewis behind, specially with that pace of him.
So there is only 1 outcome for Max if Hamilton gets behind him, do a Hulkenberg 2012 in turn 1.
Im really counting they will crash, cuz at every sprint they crashed on sunday. So i count for them to make it 3 out of 3.
Hamilton has really incredible top speed with drs, almost 20kph faster than anyone on the straights.
I believe he can win this thing today if all goes to plan

Will Lewis be able to keep that pace today? Is not 25 laps and you still gotta manage tires

Not sure what Toto's complaining about tbh. Yes, other teams are making changes with the FIA's permission, difference is those teams are spotting these problems before the sessions. Mercedes would have been allowed to fix the problem had they noticed it in time, it even says that in the steward report

Three races in a row though. If RB can't make a rear wing that can't last through quali and the race then they should start from the pits.

Wolff is lashing out because he's never been in a title fight with another team before and he can't handle it.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
