Welp, with flooded track earlier this year and no race start = tickets refund (I think), I'm not sure they will do something with Raidillon corner this year

The funny thing is that Christian Horner said yesterday there was enough light until at least 7pm and it cleared up quite nicely.

But this dumbass TV schedule 3hour racetime is ruining that chance.

What an absolute shit show. It is clear that the people running the thing don't even know what they are doing and anyone that still tries to defend Masi is just blind.

I can't believe that it isn't as simple as as soon as they leave the grid for a formation lap then the race procedure has started. Doesn't mean that the race has started, but the procedure. And they are now saying that the formation lap has eaten into the race distance.........so the race has started, otherwise it would still be the full race distance!!! So how can Perez be allowed to start?

I think the Perez decision was made on the fly because there's no rule or precedent for it. My logic would be that he can start because the race did not officially start, regardless of the procedure.

also, race distance was adjusted because of the fuel usage even tho the race "hasn't started"

Yeah and they have cameras there.

Seriously that would be awesome. The race won't happen today for sure anyway. Spectators know the weather isn't getting any better so why stay at the track ?

Just move the race to 9 AM tomorrow. They’ll have plenty of time to go to Zandvoort afterwards lol

Dutch tv also expecting 2 sc laps then flag because weather won’t improve but they need these 2 laps to hand out points.

Fuck this just call it then

So, the distance from Spa to Zandvoort is a race distance, right? So why not putting everything togheter?
