I'm having lunch with some friends that I haven't seen for a year because of Covid, and I plan to leave early so I can watch the 500. Does that make me a bad person?

Nope, we were invited by our new neighbors that we have become friendly with over to their cookout and it was going to start in the middle of the race. It's pissing down rain here the past three days and they moved it to Monday. I couldn't be happier.
