I raise you a Forti, that is what proper backmarkers looked like. This? Well I quite like this backmarker look, much better than the other one they had.

Edit: Oh lol. All those memes that I saw last year on reddit now must have a new meaning. Lol. Here's Millenial it's called Generation Y, which I always forget what it meant. Only heard about Millenial term the past few years cause of reddit memes....

The starting point of a millennial is someone who turned 18 around 2000. I as a 38 year old am lumped into the same age group as someone that was barely walking when 9/11 happened??? I just made myself depressed.

The old livery screamed backmarker, this livery looks so much better.

the livery looks good, remember some Brabham in the early 90's before they got desperate and painted it pink

Boomers - 1940-1964
Gen X - 1965-1980
Millenials - 1980-2000
Gen Y - 2000-

Generation Alpha has been thrown around as a name for the new generation.

I was born in 1987 and have to deal on a daily basis with people born in 1999-2000. There's no way we can be considered the same generation

Generations are a stupid concept. This X/Y/millenial is also a very anglo-saxon thing to me.

In my Moroccan/French background, the only generation clearly defined are boomers, which is a precise jump in birthd after WW2 (in Western countries). Outside of that, generation was just a word the young and old of various ages used arbitrarily to complain about each other with shallow generalities. Generations perhaps make sense in a household where there are a few levels of people separated by 25 years each, but in a society constantly killing/birthing people it's meaningless.

Only discovered the generation split mentioned in the previous post, when I started communicating with British/Americans and reading English-speaking media. It's now slowly creeped into other cultures, especially talking about "millenials"

Millienials are said to be AKA Gen Y:

funny that is not the first time Liberty tried to push that into attracting youngsters

back when they changed graphics and fonts the onboard videos displaying the corners of the tracks often had DANGER ZONE or ACTION ZONE with it, even though only certain drivers could really turn those corners into a real danger zone

Yeah, it's just yet another tactic of divide and conquer, not only can we divide people over race, nationality, religion, sex and whatever else, lets also add age into it so even families can start hating each other
I know it's kinda traditional for old people to be angry about anything young people do because they're jealous of them, but c'monnnn

Wake me when we're through all this bullshit and start at least tolerating one another.

Meanwhile, a Boomer called Bernie Ecclestone is making his ridiculous and unwanted opinions known, for some reason

"Black people are more racist than white people"

WHY do we have to hear from him again? :yuk:

And global politics has no place in F1, F1Media. So you can keep your opinions to yourself. (not talking to you James B)

It's really annoying how politics has permeated almost every facet of life. You just cannot escape the bullshit these days.

Politicising things is a great way of controlling things (and people).

I'm not entirely sure this is aimed at younger audiences. I think these things are there more to justify the deals with Amazon than anything else. Even though F1 loves data, I don't like this dataism in the transmission. It doesn't match the show. It feels like team radios which when they came were a terrible oversharing and it got clear some whining shouldn't be there because it harmed the show.
