I give this 30/70 we get it in. Forecast gets better, then takes a shit at 8pm. Forecast for tomorrow afternoon/evening is pretty good.

Imagine being the guy who has to sell NASCAR to TV stations. "Our series is on every Sunday for 36 weeks a year. We can't race in the rain so when it rains the race could last 8 hours or might happen on Monday. Or sometimes Tuesday. Also when it is on it's very boring so no one watches apart from a small group of die hard hate-watching masochists. Viewing figures are constantly dropping but dw because we keep removing stands so it looks ok on TV. The highlight of our season used to be a prestigious 500 mile race but now it's a political advert. Pls buy"

Or make sure each track has a possible roval configuration, so if it's raining use the roval with wet tires, if dry, race as normal on the oval. So nothing ever has to get delayed or postponed.

I'm sure Trump will still call this the most successful, most memorable and best attended 500 ever, by virtue of him being there.

Forecast is fine for all day tomorrow. Apparently they want it to be near prime time on television.
However, in the US tomorrow is a holiday and many, but not all of course, will be off work.

They're probably must be aiming for a reasonable time for the west coast as well. After all, how many do live in California? And to gather momentum for the next few races.... it all makes sense.

That time they raced in Monday night, they had really good ratings. There was some talk about having some evening races during the work week.

Hi I'm from Chicago and I don't have work tomorrow. This is great.

I work until 6 pm local (4 ET). I’ll try to leave a few minutes earlier. I can get home in 15 minutes or so.

I work at home every day except Wednesday. I'm good.

I have to leave to the doctor 30min after the scheduled start. This will be a torture. I can't wait for a torrent cause at night there will be our league race with a Daytona 500 of ours. Even if they don't spoil the finish, I would be too distracted by the chance of it happening. Oh well... The second half of the race I can probably watch allright.

who knew stupidweeks could go into extra time? just call it a day and give Donald Trump the win, plus a crown of king of stupids
