Think how busy this thread would have been had McLaren and Alonso sorted something out :(

They did sort something out. He's doing Indy. He didn't want to do a full season because he's an old man now and doing two full calendars would knacker him.

-----------

Lost in the excitement over Max's deal is the confirmation that Kimball will also return but only on a part-time basis.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I think they still have a second full-time team planned if they get the funding. There was a rumor that they could have up to 3 cars this year. RC Enerson was testing at CoTA for the team as well.

When I saw that news I was like, "well, that's a given that Chilton "gets" a drive with Carlin."

Interesting that the offical F1 facebook page posted this, are they starting to see Indycar as a threat or something? Seems unnecessary tbh

Quote:
Calling all Indiana F1 fans!

We're looking for passionate F1 devotees who are from the heart of IndyCar racing - people we can interview for a video piece about why a Hoosier would prefer F1. What is it about the experience they enjoy?

Interested? Send an email to kirbybradley33@gmail.com by 25th January with the subject line 'Indy F1' and we'll get back to you!

Either that, or they want another tilt at the roval (those 5 US races won't book themselves).

--------

This is your yearly reminder that Chilton came within 7 points of TK in their second and final year as teammates, beating both Marco and Hinch (same engine) in the process.

Is it even possible to buy an item from something you already own?

Or is it just the left a giving the right hand money?

True, I was waiting for you to come and correct my characterization of Chilton / Carlin lol
