It is not going to happen but with all the heat that Stroll is taking for possibly going to Force India next year taking Ocon's seat, would Dad Stroll consider leaving Lance at Williams again next year? That is a whole lot of negativity for a new team.

Haas sticking with their lineup for 2019.
Somewhat surprised as I expected Grosjean to get replaced. At the same time, stability isnt bad either

Indeed, stability isn't bad. The thing is that Grosjean is bad.

Haas doesn't tend to look short term at driver performance, as long as they are mostly consistent and decent, they don't mind half a season of fuckups. Just look at the motley crew they have in their NASCAR team,

A lot of people say Haas is only this good because of their ties with Ferrari but IMHO the real reason is the stable core of the operation. They know what they are doing.

And when Grosjean (occassionally) strings it together he can bring home the bacon.

If they're afraid of ovals: Formula E. If they're not, IndyCar.

Its almost as if those are the two top single seater categories not named F1. Craaaaazy

Don't forget WEC, where 15 or 20 former F1 drivers are still racing.

The only reason I can come up with for Haas keeping Grosjean is because he's working in a Swiss bank and knows maybe a trick or two to "balance the incomes and outcomes".

The legal way, of course. :whistling:

Polish media report that Artem Markelov's father was arrested in Sochi on corruption charges. He allegedly tried to bribe the internal affairs minister no less. I wonder whether that kills Markelov's F1 bid now?

I had totally forgotten that Kyvat actually managed to finish just ahead of Ricciardo in 2015 standings after being promoted to RBR. Now with his reputation of being a headcase, just goes to show how much F1 is all about what have you done for me lately.

I think reliability had more of a part to play in that than Kvyat's performance; Dan generally was running better but broke down more. Having said that I think Daniil was quite good that year, and might still be a RB driver had Verstappen not been waiting in the wings.

Considering the bribe was apparently of 30 billion dollars, the money sure won't be coming from his father.

i don't think "new livery" is something thaat applies to Ferrari.

Shit will be red, no matter what, just a few sponsors and touches here and there

It's not like we suddenly see a yellow ferrari or something

Philip Morris is stepping it up. Expect more white thus more shit livery.

I want my Ferrari red, black wings and golden rims back. Until that happens they should be refused any historical pay.

So they’re making Seb have a shave and a buzz cut?
