Apparently he was driving the car to the pits while on his phone as well. Just caught up with all of this, what in the world is this dude thinking?

What did his dad do? I've heard he is, by all accounts, a twat, but haven't heard specifics on yesterday's behaviour.

Read the black in Mattzels post... ok it's not 100% proof but when there's smoke there's fire

Is there any other case in the history of motorsports that comes close to this level of stupid? On high level of the sports obviously, since you could expect something like that to happen in Bowman Gray.

Maini's comment about his brains seems quite accurate. And judging by Trident's message, the heckling might have been going on earlier as well. I can't imagine how Maini's been feeling when Ferrucci started to use his car as a weapon.

I think lifetime ban should be applied. There's no drug test for that level of madness. His tweets alone should be enough to kill anyone's career. And he is nobody.

I hope so.

Montagny had been banned because of his cocaine possession story, but Ferrucci's behavior is 100 times worse.
What a stupid moron, and how to ruin a whole career in 20 minutes.

I think IndyCar is very strict with this kind of behavior. And I'm quite sure that the other drivers probably don't want a guy who could use his car as a weapon against his own team mate in the grid where drivers really need to trust others in speeds over 350km/h.

I wonder if Maini's radio outburst in France had something to do with Ferrucci bois. Maybe join Scott Speed's online racing team next?

Thanks for reminding that Montagny incident. That one is actually not bad compared to Ferrucci.

I think he changed his twitter profile. Now it says "American race car driver". Nothing Trident or Haas related.

If any of this Trump / MAGA stuff is true, then I expect F2 to become a headline bitching point on Fox News imminently.

I can't understand the driving through the paddock with one glove on or driving with a phone in your hand, it seems a bit micro managing to me (we used to drive around without gloves on all the time, it's easier to do a low speed), but the rest of it, oh my lol what a noob.

Social media is fast becoming the new politics, it's one of the few thing that you don't need any qualifications to do.

It's still a rules violation, but out from his tricks it's probably the smallest mistake, or depending on how you take the request of trying to get Trump slogan on his car, at least they didn't bitch about that in Twitter. Again, if the rules are against of ANY political statements, it's only stupid try to get a special permission.

It does seem that way doesn't it? Although I suspect it's likely to do with safety / liability / insurance.

I remember back in 1994 or 1995 Tiff Needell was DSQ from a TVR Tuscan race after he undid his belts to wave to the crowd.

Social Media is a blessing and curse. If you know how to use it, it is a powerful tool. Too many people however don't fully understand it's power and are still naive.
