Love how they showed that replay of accident with Porsche and after it commentators says that he might be damaged and that they didn't show replay :D

RLM not watching the TV monitors, even when providing coverage for TV pictures exclusively?
Shocking! :p
(Their radio station thinks the 24 hours of Barcelona is the main event of today so it's not like they're doing radio commentary :p )

Hindsight apologised for missing it, apparently he was trying to work out the number of laps remaining. Unfortunately the other guy was reading out stuff from Twitter at the same time. Pretty basic to keep one person on the screens at all times...

I just expect it now, I remember during the Daytona 24 hours 2014 there was a big wreck they just weren't paying attention to until one of the damaged cars made it into pit lane, then they began a 10 minute speculation of what they thought could've happened and who else might have been involved based on the damage, even though if they'd looked at the damn screens they'd have seen a couple of replays.

When people tried pointing this out to them on Twitter, including me, Eve went on a massive defensive rant about how they are radio broadcasters first and they shouldn't have to look at the TV coverage to make sense of the race and how basically we were wrong for expecting them to synchronise with the TV coverage or even pick up major race incidents as they happened.

It was compelte B.S and I think RLM is slightly veering into believing its own hype mode now, I don't find it very listenable, I thought I was falling out of sports car racing compeltely then I realised it was just their way of presenting it as a matey-matey-geeky-geeky-stats-before-excitement-compareeverythingtohowmuchbetteritisthanf1 that was grating on me.

Silly accident to have, might have saved it if he'd got off the brakes

It is not that bad excuse, they're paid to the radio coverage first and probably majority of the listeners especially at the big events are not at the same time watching tv feed. And the WEC commentary isn't technically RLM, it is just Hindy & Graham.

The point is, when they're doing TV, as now, they're the same as when they're doing radio.

and even if it was just a radio coverage alone, it was a terrible moment for them because it took them 10 minutes to work out what everyone else (fans at the track, fans watching on TV) already knew.
They could've seen it out the window if they needed to, but nope.
the only people that didn't know what was going on was the 500 or so people that listen to their radio coverage with no backup pictures, live timing, track view or anything else.
