Hello from Le Mans.

As a spectator - fuck red flags. Yay for Code 60. If you disagree then you're wrong.

What Dave said. The red flags suck, was please as hell they used Code 60s last night, even though it robbed us of a good fight for pole. At least we did the sit there watching fuck all.

ProSpeed's replacement car is on its way. Curtis will be replaced by Sebastien Crubilé (source: Marcel ten Caat). Had to be a bronze driver because of AM-rules, and he raced for them last year.

I thought 1991-1993 cars weren't allowed, that was the case until:

Class 3 (A: For Japanese sportscars, IMSA, Group C cars running in ‘91-‘93 specification. B: ‘Special Invitation’ – For any Group C/GTP car or any other car considered by the Club to be of a) Special Historical interest to the Club or Promoters of any of the Clubs races, or, b) be of particular benefit to the Club.)

So Rebelllion Racing stole the "kablam" button from Joest... :whistling:

I didn't see much of qualifying because of moving the rest of my home. Porsche seems to be strong, and Toyota confirmed they're ready to win. But i'm a bit worried about Audi.

And we've got so many crashs at Porsche Curves... What happened here?

I heard them say on RLM that the rumor going around the Paddock (allegedly) is the drivers are starting to voice their concerns that the Porsche Curves (built to replace the too dangerous Maison Blache section) are now they themselves too dangerous. Cars carry such high speed through there and with so little room for error the results of mistakes are often spectacular.

My personal vote is for another Audi win. Toyota's are fast, but for some reason I just don't see them pulling it out. If they had three cars I might change my tune. Porsche to lead the first lap. Audi to the front not before the 16th hour.

Hoping for Corvette Racing in the GT's.

I know I'll be trying for the full race. Might be the last time, too.

I have my usual strategy: not even trying full 24h  Missing nothing (because the cameras for sure will miss everything) during some night hours is good time to take 2-3 h sleep and then instead not feel fucking tired watching the final hours.

Not entirely sure what I will be doing yet. Going to be pretty tired after my exam, but since I'm also a football fan I want to see Japan-Ivory Coast (3am). Maybe I will sleep a bit after that

I've never attempted the full 24h, and I'm not going to start this year. I like my sleep too much! The England match will probably have most of my attention between 11pm-1am, and we'll see how long I last after that! Probably not very long!

That's serious! But since he's tweeting apparently it's nothing like Schumacher had.
