Yeah you don't just rock up and beat Audi. That was a proper race.

Agree 100%. Seemed like it was race no one wanted to win. After the Toyota broke it seemed as if everyone who took the lead that looked like they might be able to consolidate position broke something. The win was in doubt until the 90 mins or so and even then, with so many mechanical problems across the top runners, that wasn't a given.

Love this race. Only got 4 hours of sleep.

Mulsanne Corner has posted a video of the Toyota rear wing flex. Completely illegal lol.

Wasn't that just a broken wing? They changed a rear wing on one of the Toyota's during the race.

Some of my photos, including selfies that seemed to become a running joke this year. Proper pics off the real camera will follow eventually, I have about 1,000 to process.

However, an unexpected electrical problem related to the wiring loom forced Kazuki to stop the car at Arnage corner.

If that was still unclear. Has to be the most invisible lead retirement in recent memory. Only footage was from some passing GTE car onboard. #7's own onboard died earlier, probably for an unrelated reason.

I missed 5 hours from 3am to 8am, watched the rest, much to the annoyance of the wife, mind you she was asking how much it would cost to go next year yesterday....

It's ok I don't think you missed much, from what I saw it seems perhaps some of the french cameramen went home between the hours of 1am-6am?
Did anyone else notice we only seem to have got footage from the pit lane and onboards during those hours?

Maybe they should do something about that, and also the lack of track shots in practice too....?
