How is that going to make any difference, especially on a straight, since the run-off area is so small. :slaphead: And then they do nothing to those armocs straight from the 1970s. I'd rather keep the grass and upgrade the armcos to the kind of ones with fencing. I'm always wondering what if an airborne accident happened in that part. Hello trees.

Exactly what happened with Sebastien Enjolras in 1997. Laying down tarmac there does nothing for safety as far as I can tell.

Warning. Fatal crash.

I approve of the gravel trap at Karting, actually.

It was a "half joke"(if that makes sense). I knew about your long time close following of sportscar racing but you your love for current shitty F1 makes you an "F1 boy" now :p You should be like Martin Haven or Hindy :whistling:

Love is a strong word, Artur :p I just dislike it much less than others currently. Never been one to have much negativity, life's too short for that. I just stop watching the series that don't do anything for me anymore (eg. WTCC). But like I said a while back in the F1 discussion thread: I will never specifically stay home to watch an F1-race (bar maybe Spa) while I will stay home for whatever WEC/ELMS/Blancpain-race is on. ;)

I just wonder if there will be coverage for this at all in the United States this year, with Fox Saturday baseball/NASCAR coverage, I am guessing not... :(

Just realized. Indy 500 and Monaco this week with normal exams (especially the 500, as a diehard Montoya fan) and a retake the week of Le Mans.

After about 15 minutes of looking, all I can find is a blurb that says "The 24 Hours of Le Mans is scheduled for June 14-15, with live coverage on the FOX Sports family of networks."

Some combination of FS1, FS2 and online is my guess.

I think it was Bob Varsha who said during the coverage of the last TUSC race that the entire race is being shown on FS1 and FS2. There was no mention of online so those who don't have FS2 will prolly have to find streams.

That's awesome! Cause I'm actually one of the few on this board that has FS2 in HD!

Bastard! What cable provider do you have? We get FS2 but not in HD.

BVU. Just a local cable company in the area.

I know we're expecting a Nissan LMP1, but I kinda hope they announce a DeltaWingGTR with a wing on the back and some well wicked stripes. It'll go in with every other Nissan announcement that they built up, only to announce something nobody cares about. :p

I'm not expecting anything! Anything with 4 wheels and fits within a specified ACO class would be a Image in my book.

If it's P1, it better not be one that has required heavy lobbying of either chassis or powertrain rules. "Conventional" P1 would be perfect for us haters: we get new manufacturer and we get to keep saying DW/ZEOD was just PR stunting.

Could be a too excited fanboy though:

Completely agree. Need to actually enter on the same rules as everybody else, or just go away.
